I
stayed up all night with my buddies at the bar
Practicing the art of persuasion.
She said, "Oh no, Joe. You ain't getting very far.
I'm not that kind of girl."
So
I used all my best lines trying to bring that girl around.
And lead her down the road of temptation.
She said, "I think you're fine, but you're wasting all your
time.
I'm not that kind of girl.
So
we drank a dozen beers. Tried to wash away her fears.
When she handed me the keys to her place.
CHORUS
She said, "Don't you think I'm easy just because
I'm going home with you. Don't you think I'm easy just because
We drank a dozen beers washed away my fears.
You know I'm not that kind of girl."
Now
it's ten am and it's early Sunday morn.
I look around her room to find my bearings.
She picked her clothes up off the floor and they're hanging on the
door.
She asked me to help her with her earrings.
And
when she kissed me on the cheek,
I started feeling weak.
And I realized the trouble I was in.
