Newfoundland Pony Neal owns two Newfoundland Ponys, Dream and Celtie, and is very interested in conserving the breed which is the first Heritage Animal for the province of Newfoundland and Labrador.
The Newfoundland Pony has long been a proud and integral part of Newfoundland culture and history. It was for centuries the main beast of burden. It helped in helping Newfoundlanders wrestle a living from a harsh but beautiful land. |
